Jin Goo, Ha Ji Won & Park Ki Woong To Banner Action-Spy Series “Prometheus”

The lineup for upcoming KBS espionage drama, Prometheus, is shaping up to open 2019 with a bang!

Prometheus has tapped popular and skilled actors Ha Ji Won, Jin Goo, and Park Ki Woong to spearhead the story of Korean secret service agents.

The upcoming spy series takes the plot of how peace talks on denuclearization between the two Koreas are in full swing. But the core North Korean scientists who are well-versed in their country’s nuclear weapon disappeared mysteriously. It then propels a race for countries to track down their location deploying their best secret service agents.

Jin Goo (Descendants of the Sun) is confirmed to play the titular role of “Prometheus” aka Park Hoon, an ambassador to the North Korean embassy in Moscow, who is caught in an unexpected incident and moves to the Republic of Korea to live in hiding.

Ha Ji Won (Hospital Ship) will portray the role of a North Korean NIS official, which is another key character in the story that will perform covert operations relating to the denuclearization summits. Known for her impeccable presence in stage combat, the actress has proven stellar performances in her variety of roles, which include Hospital Ship, Empress Ki, Secret Garden and Hwang Jin Yi.

Chameleon actor Park Ki Woong (Return) joins the main leads as ​​Choi Ryong Soo, who used to have a close brotherhood with Park Hoon, until an unfortunate event creates tension between them.
