BLACKPINK And Nam Joo Hyuk Are Paradise City Hotel And Resort’s Newest Models

Paradise City Hotel and Resort is bringing the hallyu wave to the forefront through their latest models.

Paradise City Hotel & Resort is gearing up to bring the Korean wave closer to its customers! To make this possible, the resort has chosen two phenomenal advertising models: BLACKPINK and actor Nam Joo Hyuk.

BLACKPINK and Nam Joo Hyuk have been selected because of their global influence. BLACKPINK has been gaining steam in the United States, as they are the first group to perform at Good Morning America. The girl group was also the first female Korean act to perform at Coachella, where they are scheduled to perform on April 12 and 19.

The girls also took the world by storm through their title track “DDU-DU DDU-DU”. As of press time, the music video is the first Korean video to garner over 700 million views, and was the most viewed video in 2018.

Nam Joo Hyuk, meanwhile, rose to fame after starring in Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo. But his performance in film Ansi Fortress solidified his presence an actor after sweeping the new actor awards in various award giving bodies.  The actor-model has been busy with his fan meeting tour titled, Current around Asia. His latest drama, The Light in Your Eyes, has also recently ended.

The actor-model has also been busy modelling for magazine features. Nam Joo Hyuk was recently featured in Dazed Korea with Han Ji Min, and landed a spread with Esquire Magazine.

Paradise City Hotel & Resort hopes to increase the representation of K-Culture through their models, and eventually build their identity as an “art tourism resort”. Prior to this announcement, the resort has also added a number of amenities such as a variety of cultural and entertainment facilities, and convention centers.
